Keto Chocolate Almond Milkshake (Vegan):

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup unsweetened, low-carb (1g) plant-based milk

  • 2 scoops chocolate protein powder (we offer multiple high-quality lines, and Dr. Roberts can recommend which would be best for you—buy from us for loyalty points and a discount!)

  • ½ teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder (we used and carry Askinosie—buy from us for loyalty points and a discount!)

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened almond butter

  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon amaretto liqueur (we used Disaronno)

  • Optional: Silk dairy-free heavy whipping cream or So Delicious Cocowhip

  • Optional: chocolate shavings (we used and carry Askinosie—buy from us for loyalty points and a discount!)

  • Optional: one raspberry

Instructions:

  1. Pour milk into blender.

  2. Put the protein powder, almond butter, and cocoa powder (and optionally liqueur) into the blender.

  3. Blend on low, or use the milkshake setting.

  4. Pour the milkshake into the cup or mug.

  5. Optional: Whip the heavy whipping cream in a mixer and then scoop a dollop out onto the top of the shake. Then, sprinkle chocolate shavings on top of the cream, and press one raspberry onto it.

This protein-rich shake is specifically formulated to help patients build and retain muscle. It fits into Dr. Roberts’ eco-ketosis diet as part of her weight management program and would be delicious as breakfast, or with a splash of liqueur and a scoop of whipped cream as dessert.

She has lectured extensively across the US, training thousands of other physicians in Weight Loss Medicine.
